About the Wireless LAN Status Icons

The M-480 is connected to the wireless LAN access point. This indicates the signal level with 3 bars.
fig.adaptor-connected.eps
Although the wireless USB adaptor is connected, the M-480 is not connected to the wireless LAN access point.
fig.no-adaptor.eps
The wireless USB adaptor is not connected (nothing is displayed).
fig.ad-hoc-mode.eps
The unit is in Ad-Hoc mode (p. 7).
About the Other Displays
Device Name This displays the device name of this unit that is shown on the application connected via wireless LAN.
IP Address This displays the current IP address.
MAC Address This displays the MAC address of the wireless USB adaptor.
The MAC address indicated on the bottom of the wireless USB adapter (WNA1100-RL; sold separately).
