6. Installing the Blade
CAUTION
Be sure to perform operations as specied by these instructions, and never touch
any area not specied in the instructions.
Sudden movement of the machine may cause injury.
CAUTION
Never touch the tip of the blade with your ngers.
Doing so may result in injury, and the cutting performance of the blade will be
impaired.
1. Insert a blade into the blade holder.
2. Enter the blade replacement mode.


several times.


twice.

Press .
The cutting carriage moves to a location permitting blade replacement.

Open the front cover.
Preparations are complete, when this screen appears.

Insert the blade.
Blade holder
Pin
Cap
Insert the blade.
Insert the pin.
Never insert the pin in all the way to its base.
