When Missing Pixels Etc. Cannot be Corrected
Perform the procedure below if ink discharge issues such as dot drop-out are not corrected after performing
cleaning using the cleaning function (Normal, Medium, Powerful) or manual cleaning.



Press several times to display the screen shown
at left.

When using 8 colors
Press to display the screen on the left.

When using 4 colors
Press .

Press or , and select the color of the ink
that you do not want to perform cleaning for.
Press
or to hide ink colors that you do
not want to perform cleaning for or to show ink colors
that you do want to perform cleaning for.
Repeat this process to display only the colors of ink that
you want to perform cleaning for.
Cleaning will be performed for the inks of the displayed colors only.

Press .
A large amount of ink will be discharged during this operation. Ink from non-selected colors will also
be discharged, although the amount discharged will be smaller than that from selected colors. Perform
this operation only when dot drop-out and other issues cannot be corrected even after performing
cleaning using the cleaning function (Normal, Medium, Powerful) or manual cleaning.

