When the screen on the left is displayed, remove the drain
bottle and discard the discharged uid.
CAUTION
The discharged fluid
must be discarded at this stage.
A large amount of ink will be discharged during this
operation. The discharged uid must be discarded
at this stage. If you do not discard it at this stage,
discharged uid will overow from the drain bottle
during the procedure that follows.
CAUTION
Before you detach the drain bottle, be sure to wait for the screen to display
"EMPTY DRAIN BOTTLE."
Failing to follow this procedure may cause discharged uid to ow out of the
tube and spill, soiling your hands or the oor.

Attach the emptied drain bottle to the machine.

The screen on the left is displayed.
When it nishes, the screen shown on the left appears again.

Press to go back to the original screen.
