Setting the Cutting Test and the Blade Force
For high-quality cutting, we recommend carrying out a cutting test to check the cutting quality for the media
before you perform actual cutting. Adjust the blade force depending on the cutting quality.
1. Carry out the cutting test.

Close the front cover.

Press [ ], [ ], [ ], or [ ] to move the cutting carriage to the location where you want to
carry out the cutting test.
You can freely set the location for the cutting test.

Press [FUNCTION].

Press [ ] several times to display the screen shown below.

Press [ENTER].
The test pattern is cut.
