Basic operation for Cool Edit Pro LE
■ Using editing functions and effects
Cool Edit Pro LE provides numerous commands for waveform editing. Here
we will provide brief explanations of some of these commands. For details
refer to “Help”.

Exiting Cool Edit Pro LE
To exit Cool Edit Pro LE, select the File menu and click Exit.
For details on Cool Edit Pro LE, refer to the help [Start]-[Programs]-[Cool
Edit Pro LE]-[Cool Edit Pro LE Help] of the Cool Edit Pro LE.
Undo Cancel the result of the command that was last executed.
Copy Copy the selected region to the clipboard.
Cut Cut the selected region and copy it to the clipboard.
Paste Insert the data saved in the clipboard into the location at which
the insert point was placed.
Mix Paste Repeatedly paste the data saved in the clipboard, or mix it with
the displayed waveform. You can also adjust the volume of the
data to be pasted.
Invert Invert the polarity of the waveform amplitude in the selected
region.
Reverse Reverse the selected region of the waveform front-to-back.
Amplify Increase or decrease the volume of the selected region. You can
also create fade-in or fade-out effects.
Delay Apply a delay effect to the selected region of the waveform.
Echo Apply a reverb effect to the selected region of the waveform.
Flanger Apply a flanger effect to the selected region of the waveform.
Normalize Normalize the selected region of the waveform. This will
adjust the level according to the maximum volume value.
