• CD TRACK CAPTURE OFFSET
You can adjust the beginning time of capture. Specify the value in time from the top
of the CD track.
• CD TRACK CAPTURE LENGTH
You can adjust the time of capture.
• CD TRACK
Select the track of CD shown under “CD Track.”
4. Once the above parameters are set, select the track of CD shown under “CD
Track” pressing [PREVIOUS] or [NEXT]. The highlighted track is the target
to capture.
5. Press (click) [F5 (OK)] after completion all the settings.
A message concerning copyright appears in the display. The same message
appears in the back cover of Owner’s Manual. After reading this message,
press [ENTER/YES].
A message of “Capture to Mastering Tr. In CDR mode?” appears in case of followings.
• 23 and 24 tracks are selected as destination tracks and
• those tracks are selected as stereo pair and
• no song data exists on 23 and 24 tracks.
Press [ENTER/YES] (click [YES]) when you want to capture in CDR mode. If you
press [EXIT/NO] (click [NO]), the recording mode of current project will be applied.
6. A message concerning Licensing Conditions is displayed. After reading
this message, press [ENTER/YES] (click [YES]). This message appears in
the back cover of Owner’s manual. A message “CD Capture..” appears on
display and starts capture.
7. If you want to capture other audio data from same CD, go back to process
3. above.
8. Press [EXIT/NO] or click “F6 (EXIT),” then press [HOME (DISPLAY)] or
click “HOME” in the upper right of the VGA screen. You will return to the
HOME screen.
You can also press [PLAY]
to play back the track that
is selected for capture
(highlighted in black).
When the cursor is located
at “CD Track,” you can also
press [ ] [ ] to
select the track.
If the display indicates “Illegal Track Pair!”
In the following cases, capture will not be carried out unless the
capture-destination tracks have been assigned as a stereo pair.
• If the current project has a recording mode of “CD-R”
• If a CD-R mode phrase has been recorded in the capture-destination
track
In these cases, press [ENTER/YES], and then return to step 4 and re-specify the
capture-destination track.
