Use the TIME/VALUE dial to select whether or not the equalizer
will be used. For this example, select “On.”

Press PARAMETER [ ].
The upper line of the display will indicate “EQL,” allowing you to adjust the low
range equalizer.

Use CURSOR [ ] [ ] so that the parameter you wish to adjust
(gain or frequency) is blinking, and use the TIME/VALUE dial to
modify the value. Play back the song as you make adjustments so
that you can hear the results.
The bar display will show the equalization curve for the values that you specify.
If you adjust the equalizer while sound is playing, you may hear a
“popping” or “sputtering” noise. This is not a malfunction. If this
noise is a problem, make adjustments while sound is not playing.

Hold down [SHIFT] and press channel 5 [EQ Hi (CH EDIT)].
The upper line of the display will indicate “EQH,” allowing you to adjust the
high range equalizer.

Use CURSOR [ ] [ ] so that the parameter you wish to adjust
(gain or frequency) is blinking, and use the TIME/VALUE dial to
modify the value.

If you wish to adjust the equalizer for any of the other tracks,
repeat Steps 2–8 for of those tracks.

When you have finished making the adjustments, press [PLAY
(DISPLAY)].
The initial display reappears. If necessary, save the song (p. 18).
