INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the PB224 Dual Phantom Power Supply. The
unit powers two condenser microphones that are designed for phantom
powering. Condenser microphones provide much greater dynamic range,
lower noise and better sound quality. Most microphones will operate at full
performance with 12 volts DC, however some mics require 48 volts which
was the old tube mic standard. The PB224 may be powered via two 9 volt
batteries, or an optional AC adapter.
OPERATION
Connect the condenser microphone(s) to the input connector and connect
the outputs to a mixer or other audio input device. Move the Power Switch
to the "on" postition and verify that the Power LED is lit.
The unit provides no audio gain as it is not a microphone preamp.
