2.7.3 Emergency Operation of the Compressed Air
Cylinder
If the compressed air supply or an electropneumatic control
valve fails, the pneumatic valve drive (compressed air cylinder)
can be operated manually in order to open or close the valve.
Procedure:
- Close the shut-off valve (J163).
The pneumatic installation of the pump system is automatically
bled.
- Position the emergency operation lever on the valve drive.
- Turn the lever by 90° to activate the valve.
Note:
After closing the shut-off valve (J163), operate all the
pneumatic drives manually.
Have the system repaired by a professional after use.
