Direct injection foam proportioning

in suction mode
or start-up mode!
IMPORTANT!
When a water hammer occurs, very high pressures can
develop, possibly damaging lines, hoses, pumps or valves.
Operate nozzle settings, hydrants, valves, etc. slowly in
order to avoid water hammers.
3.2 Commissioning
Each time that the direct-injection foam proportioner is
reactivated, the foam pump is automatically in start-up mode,
i.e. the pump starts at a higher speed so that the foam compound
is taken in more quickly. This is shown by the display message
„Direct-injection foam proportioner in suction/start-up
mode“.
The foam pump is also in suction mode if the foam tank is
switched.
