10. Transport, Storage
Crushing and shearing hazard for
limbs when unloading.
Caused by collapsing or slipping of
the load.
Only unload the packing unit and transport
to the installation site with a forklift truck or
pallet jack with a sufcient load capacity.
Only use hoists approved for the total weight
(straps, chains etc.).
Attach these so that the load cannot slip
(check the center of gravity of the load).
Only secure individual components to load-
bearing parts. Always lift vertically, steadily
and without jerking.
Carry out a visual inspection before
ofoading.
Do not stand close to or underneath swinging
loads.
Constantly monitor the danger zone when
lifting or lowering.
Always transport hydraulic components
empty of oil.
Lift components may be damaged
if ofoaded incorrectly.
Do not damage plates on the underside of
the lift when lifting.
Several parts are inserted into the compon-
ents, for example into the runways. Ofoad
these carefully to prevent damage.
When ofoading, proceed from top to bottom.
