7.2) Fuel system
General note See Fig. 2
Fuel The fuel flows from the tank (1) via a coarse filter (2) the fire cock
(3) and fine filter (4) to the mechanical fuel pump (5). From the
pump fuel passes on via the fuel manifold (6) to the two carbure-
tors.
Return line Via the return line surplus fuel flows back to the fuel tank and suc-
tion side of fuel system.
NOTE: The returnline serves to avoid formation of va-
pour lock.
