• Check that the half-cone seat{ on the valve stem is in good
condition.
• Check the half-cones }, replacing them if necessary.
Valve seat
Procedure to follow if leakage with valve installed is
greater than 5 %:
• Coat the valve W with an even layer Q or engineer’s blue.
Insert the valve in valve guide, turning it and pressing it
slightly to leave a print mark between the valve and the seat.
• The circular print mark on the valve seat E must be of a
constant width, with no breaks. The width of the print mark
“B” corresponds to the width of the valve seat, which must
be within the set limits.

“B” max. 2.0 mm
Exhaust valve seat width
“B” max. 2.0 mm
• If the width of the valve seat is not within the limits or if there
are breaks in the print mark, then the valve seat must be
recut.
Valve seat - recut
• Using a valve seat recutter R, centrally positioned on the
valve guide, the seats can be recut as follows:
• Controllare se la sede { per i semiconi sullo stelo valvola

Sede valvola
Procedura da seguire se la perdita con valvole installate
è superiore al 5 %:
• Applicare uno strato uniforme di pasta di minio Q o blu di
Prussia sulla valvola W. Inserire la valvola nel guidavalvola,
ruotando e premendo la valvola leggermente per ottenere
un’impronta di contatto tra valvola e sede.
• L’impronta circolare sulla sede valvola E deve essere con
una larghezza costante e non deve avere interruzione. La
larghezza dell’impronta ”B” corrisponde con la larghezza
della sede valvola che deve essere dentro i valori definiti.

• Se la larghezza della sede valvola è fuori dei valori indicati
o se l’impronta è interrotta, la sede valvola deve essere
rilavorata.
Sede valvole — rilavorazione
• Con un dispositivo R di rilavorazione sede valvola che viene
centrato sul guidavalvola, le sedi possono essere rilavorate
come segue:
