Preassembly
• Fit the stator E complete with pick-up Q into the ignition
cover Y so that the wire is positioned between the stator
and the ignition cover.
• Fit the stator into the ignition cover. The cable clamp U on
the bottom of the stator should plug into the fitting I in the
ignition cover.
• Apply silicone to the fitting.
• Plug the wire guide block T into the fitting in the ignition
cover.
• Fit the stator to the ignition cover with 3 M6x30 Allen screws
R.
Torque wrench setting
☞ 10 Nm
• Put the pick-up Q on the ignition cover. The magnetic point
O must be towards the stator.
• Secure the pick-up with the 2 M6x16 Allen screws W.
Torque wrench setting
☞ 10 Nm
• The gap between the pick-up and the stator must be 11,5
+
0,1
mm. Check with pick-up gauge (G). If necessary, insert
a screwdriver between the walls of the ignition cover and the
back of the pick-up and carefully bend the pick-up into
position.

Spark plug
• Remove any deposits from the ground and central electrodes
only, using a brass wire brush.
• Check if the spark plug P is the right type.
Spark plug type: for 120+154: NGK CR 8 EVX
for 177: NGK CR 8 E
• Check the gap between the electrodes with the feeler gauge {.
Gap between electrodes H = 0.7 mm
Wear limit
☞ H max. = 0.8 mm
◆ Note: Change the spark plug every 6000 km, or
whenever necessary.

Premontaggio
• Inserire lo statore completo E con pick-up Q nel coperchio
accensione Y in modo che il cavo venga posizionato fra lo
statore ed il coperchio accensione.
• Montare lo statore nel coperchio accensione. La fascetta del
cavo U sulla parte inferiore dello statore deve inserirsi
nell’incastro I del coperchio accensione.
• Inserire del silicone nella sede.
• Inserire il blocco passa-cavi T nell’incastro del coperchio
accensione.
• Montare lo statore con 3 viti a brugola M6x30 R sul
coperchio accensione.
Coppia di serraggio
☞10 Nm
• Mettere il pick-up Q sul coperchio accensione. Il punto
magnetico O deve essere orientato verso lo statore.
• Fissare il pick-up con le 2 viti a brugola M6x16 W.
Coppia di serraggio
☞10 Nm
• La distanza del pick-up dallo statore deve essere di 11,5
+
0,1
mm. Controllo con calibro pick-up (G). Se necessario,
applicare un cacciavite fra la parete del coperchio accensione
ed il dosso del pick-up e piegare il pick-up in posizione con
cautela.

Candela
• Rimuovere incrostazioni dall’elettrodo di massa e di quello
centrale solo con una spazzola di ottone.
• Controllare se il tipo di candela P è giusto.
Tipo candela: per 120+154: NGK CR 8 EVX
per 177: NGK CR 8 E
• Controllare la distanza fra gli elettrodi con lo spessimetro {.
Distanza degli elettrodi H = 0,7 mm
Limite di usura
☞ H max. = 0,8 mm
◆ Nota: Sostituire la candela ogni 6000 km oppure
quando è necessario.
