Chain guide and chain tension guide - refit
• Fit the upper chain tension guide Q into the cylinder W.
Apply LOCTITE 243 to the M6 E retaining screw.
Torque wrench setting + 10 Nm
■ Caution: When fitting a used timing chain R make
sure that the colored mark T made when
the chain was removed remains visible.
• Fit the timing chain R from the cylinder head side through
the sump and place it on the narrow crankshaft sprocket.
• Fit the small chain guide Y with the short edge facing the
crankcase pin.
• Fit the lower chain guide U from the cylinder head side and
press in the prong I until you hear a click.
Cylinder head - refit
• Carefully position the gasket Q for the cylinder head.
• Fit the assembled cylinder head W , pass the timing chain
R through the guide window and make sure that the cylinder
head is fitted on to the positioning pins.
■ Caution: When fitting the cylinder head, make sure
the chain guide U doesn’t drop out of its
housing.
• Screw in the 4 M8 flange nuts Y by hand.
• Tighten up the 4 M8 flange nuts (size 13 wrench) in a
diagonal sequence.
Torque wrench setting + 24 Nm ±1Nm
• Secure the cylinder head with 1 M6x30 Allen screw T and
then with 2 M6x90 Allen screwsE.
Torque wrench setting + 10 Nm

Pattino guidacatena e pattino tendicatena —
montaggio
• Inserire il pattino tendicatena Q superiore nel cilindro W.
Fissare la vite supporto M6 E con LOCTITE 243.
Coppia di serraggio + 10 Nm
■ Attenzione: Al rimontaggio di una catena distribuzione
R già usata far attenzione che il segno
colorato T fatto durante lo smontaggio
rimanga visibile.
• Inserire la catena distribuzione R dal lato testata attraverso
il pozzetto e posarla sul pignone albero motore sottile.
• Inserire il piccolo guidacatena Y con il lato corto verso
l'interno sull'aletta del carter.
• Inserire il pattino guidacatena inferiore U dal lato testata
e far incastrare il nasello I fino a che si sente uno scatto.
Testata — montaggio
• Posizionare con cautela la guarnizione Q per la testata.
• Montare la testata W assemblata, far passare la catena
distribuzione R attraverso la finestra di guida e fare attenzione
all’inserimento della testata sui perni di posizionamento.
■ Attenzione: All’inserimento della testata far attenzione
che il pattino guidacatena U non cada dal
suo alloggiamento.
• Avvitare i 4 dadi a colletto M8 Y con la mano.
• Serrare i 4 dadi a colletto M8 (chiave da 13) diagonalmente.
Coppia di serraggio + 24 Nm ±1Nm
• Fissare la testata con 1 vite a brugola M6x30 T e poi con
2 viti a brugola M6x90 E.
Coppia di serraggio + 10 Nm
