Note: Hold the pump rotor with your hand when
installing it, to stop it from falling, and make
sure it is correctly positioned. The pump
body must be flush with the crankcase.
• Rotate the oil pump body Q and the oil pump gear T until
the oil pump can be secured with the 2 Taptite M5x25
screws Y, applying a coat of LOCTITE 243 to the screws.
Torque wrench setting

6 Nm
• Rotate the oil pump by hand to check the clearance at the
sides of the gear teeth.
Water pump, idle gear and ignition cover - refit
• Fit the water pump together with its lubricated oil seal into
the crankcase and secure it with Taptite M5x25 screws,
coated with LOCTITE 243.
Torque wrench setting
+
6 Nm
• Rotate the water pump shaft by hand and check that it
moves freely.
• Fit the 10.1/17x1 thrust washer U on to the water pump
shaft.
• Fit the B 4x29,8 G5 DIN 5402 pin I into the pump shaft by
hand, so that it protrudes symmetrically on both sides.

Nota: All’installazione del rotore della pompa
sostenerlo con la mano per evitare che
cada e far attenzione al corretto posiziona-
mento. Il corpo pompa deve essere piano
rispetto al carter.
• Ruotare il corpo pompa olio Q e l’ingranaggio pompa olio T
finché la pompa dell’olio si possa montare con le 2 viti
Taptite M5x25 Y, mettendo LOCTITE 243 sulle viti.
Coppia di serraggio

6 Nm
• Ruotare la pompa dell’olio a mano per verificare il gioco ai
fianchi dei denti dell'ingranaggio.
Pompa acqua, ruota libera e coperchio
accensione — montaggio
• Inserire la pompa acqua completa con i paraolio lubrificati
nel carter e fissarla con vite Taptite M5x25, incollata con
LOCTITE 243.
Coppia di serraggio
+
6 Nm
• Ruotare l’albero pompa acqua a mano per controllare se
muove liberamente.
• Inserire il rasamento 10,1/17x1 U sull’albero pompa acqua.
• Inserire la spina B 4x29,8 G5 DIN 5402 I a mano nell’albero
pompa,ottenendo due sporgenze simmetriche.
