Removing engine from frame
• Clean the vehicle.
s Warning: Strictly observe the vehicle manufacturer’s
installation and removal instructions.
s Warning: Allow the engine to cool down to avoid the risk
of scalds from coolant or engine oil.
• Fit the water drain hose E on to the M6x80 Allen screw with
the copper ring Q.
Service tool ☞ Water drain hose

• Insert the Allen wrench in the water drain hose and slacken
the M6x80 Allen screw with the copper ring Q.
• Open the radiator plug and drain off the coolant.
• Remove the magnetic drain plug W and the ring gasket and
drain off the engine oil.
• Remove the parts fitted to the engine and the engine
mounting bolts, following the vehicle manufacturer’s
instructions.
s Warning: Take care when removing the engine
mounting bolts: the engine is heavy
(approx.weight 27 / 29 kg). Make sure it is
properly balanced. Support the engine on
proper engine stands. Beware of points
where there are scraping and crushing
hazards. Failure to observe this warning
can result in serious injury to you.

Smontaggio del motore dal telaio
• Pulire il veicolo.
s Avvertenza: Rispettare assolutamente le indicazioni di
installazione e di smontaggio del costruttore
del veicolo.
s Avvertenza: Fare raffreddare il motore, per evitare
scottature causate dal liquido refrigerante
o dall'olio motore.
• Inserire il tubo scarico acqua E sulla vite a brugola M6x80
con anello in rame Q.

• Inserire la chiave a brugola nel tubo scarico acqua ed
allentare la vite a brugola M6x80 con anello in rame Q.
• Aprire il tappo radiatore e scaricare il liquido refrigerante.
• Togliere la vite magnetica W e l'anello guarnizione e
scaricare l'olio motore.
• Rimuovere parti montate sul motore e le viti di fissaggio
motore secondo le istruzioni del costruttore del veicolo.
s Avvertenza: Togliendo le viti di fissaggio del motore fare
attenzione al peso del motore (di ca. 27 / 29
kg) ed al punto di bilanciamento. Sopportare
il motore con appositi sostegni. Fare
attenzione ad eventuali punti di sfregamento
e schiacciamento. La mancata osservanza
di questa precauzione può provocare gravi
lesioni personali
