• Remove the M8 hex bolt Q (size 13 wrench) together with
its washer and shield washer and remove the timing gear W.
◆ Note: You are advised to refit the chain tensioner
to stop the chain E from jumping on to the
gear, because of its excessive length.
• Remove the timing chain E from the timing gear and secure
it with a fastener R (such as an elastic band) to stop it from
dropping into the engine.
◆ Note: If only the camshaft has to be changed,
follow the detailed instructions in the
”Camshaft - remove” and ”Camshaft- refit”
chapters.
Cylinder head — remove
• Remove the three M6 Allen screws T and the 4 M8 flange
nuts Y (with a size 13 wrench).
• Togliere la vite esag. M8 Q (chiave da 13) assieme alla
rondella e la rondella schermo e rimuovere l’ingranaggio
distribuzione W.
◆ Nota: Per evitare che la catena E salti
sull’ingranaggio a causa della lunghezza
eccessiva, si raccomanda di rimontare il
tendicatena.
• Rimuovere la catena distribuzione E dall’ingranaggio
distribuzione e fissarla con un elemento di sostegno R (un
elastico o simile) in maniera che non cada all’interno del
motore.
◆ Nota: Se deve essere sostituito solo l’albero a
camme bisogna procedere come descritto
in dettaglio nei capitoli ”Albero a camme -
smontaggio” e ”Albero a camme -
montaggio”.
Testata — smontaggio
• Rimuovere 3 viti a brugola M6 T e 4 dadi a colletto M8 (con
chiave da 13) Y.
