Piston — remove
• Cover the opening in the crankcase with a cloth Q to stop
any of the removed parts from dropping into the engine.
• Remove the circlips with the bent endW, using the hooked
screwdriver.
• Extract the piston pin E with the service tool R and take
out the piston T.

■ Caution: Tap carefully on the inserter jig with a
rubber hammer and hold the piston by
hand to avoid bending the connecting rod.
• If the centering pins Y in the crankcase are damaged,
extract them with pliers.
• Remove the cloth.
■ Caution: If the engine is to be further dismantled,
make sure that the connecting rod U does
not damage the crankcase gasket contact
faces with scratch marks and dents. To
prevent this kind of damage, secure the
connecting rod by passing a crossed O-
ring through its center and attaching it to
the 4 stud bolts or protect the bottom of the
cylinder with a cloth.

Pistone — smontaggio
• Coprire le aperture del carter motore con un panno Q per
impedire che entrino pezzi smontati.
• Togliere i fermi con estremità piegata W con il cacciavite
sagomato.
• Estrarre lo spinotto E con l’attrezzatura specifica R e
rimuovere il pistone T.

■ Attenzione: Battendo con cautela con un martello in
gomma sul tampone montaggio,
supportare il pistone a mano, per non
inclinare la biella.
• Se le spine di centraggio Y nel carter sono danneggiate,
estrarle per mezzo di una pinza.
• Rimuovere il panno di protezione.
■ Attenzione: Se il motore viene smontato ulteriormente,
far attenzione che la biella U non danneggi
la superficie di tenuta del carter, che non
crei delle righe o ammaccature. Per evitare
questi tipi di danneggiamenti, fissare la
biella fra i 4 prigionieri e l’occhio della biella
per mezzo di un anello OR incrociato o
proteggere la base cilindro dei carter con
un panno.
