d. Pushthelowerpartoftheconnectorintowardstheverticalcolumnandlineupthe
twoscrewholesinthelowerportionoftheconnectorwiththetwoholesinthevertical
column.Fastentheconnectorinplacewithtwoself-tappingscrews(key3).Important:
Tightenthescrews onlyuntilasnugtisobtained.Donotover-tighten.
e. Forovalpoolsonly:Atthetransitionpointsonly,wheretheendrailmeetstheside
rail,makesurethesideraillinesupproperlywiththeendrail.Ifitdoesn’tlineup,
theconnectorwillappearcrookedfromabove(seediagram12).Iftheconnectorisn’t
centeredbetweentherails,temporarilyremovetheconnectorandloosenthescrews
onthesiderail.Shiftthesiderailinoroutfromthecenterofthepooluntilthecon-
nectorcanbeproperlycenteredbetweentherails(seediagram13).
f. Installeitheraconnectorcliporhook(key
10)inthefollowingmanner:Insertthelarge
centertab&twosmallertabslocatedatthe
topofeachintotheopeningslocatedatthe
top oftheclip housingin theconnector.
Rotatethebottomofthecliporhookinto
thehousingandpressrmlyatthebottom
ofthecliporhookuntilasnapisheard(see
diagrams14to15).Iftheconnectorclipor
hookdoesnotsnapin,slightlyloosenthe
screws.
g. Firstinsertthetabontheleftofthelogo
insert(key11)intotheopeningonthe
topoftheconnectordesignedforthelogo
insert.Bendtheinsertslightly
andinserttheothertabintothe
openingontheothersideofthe
connector.Pressdownonthe
inserttoensureapropert.
h. Repeatthelastsevenstepsfor
therestofthetopconnectors.
Caution:
Besuretospread the
sides of the lower
half connector before
stretchingitacrossthe
toprailsortheconnec-
tormaybedamaged.
