How to fix a Royal Enfield Himalayan 2018 Motorcycle that does not start?
    • S
      Stephanie MartinJul 26, 2025
If your Royal Enfield Motorcycle engine won't start, ensure the ignition/engine stop switch is in the ‘ON’ position. Also, check the fuel tank and add fuel if it's very low or empty. If the lights or horn are very dim, or electricals are not working it indicates a weak/discharged or completely dead battery, consider replacing the battery. If the electricals are not working, it may also be due to a blown fuse; replace the appropriate fuse. If the fuse blows again, it's best to contact an Authorised Service Center.

What to do if Royal Enfield Himalayan 2018 Motorcycle engine cranks but doesn't start?
    • R
      Robert ThomasAug 2, 2025
If the engine of your Royal Enfield Motorcycle cranks but doesn't start, check if the gear is engaged and the side stand is down. If the ambient temperature is low, use the Manual Bi-starter. If these steps don't work, the idling RPM might be set too low or disturbed. Contact an Authorised Service Center for resetting the Idling RPM.

Why does my Royal Enfield Himalayan 2018 Motorcycle have poor pickup?
    • H
      hrothAug 9, 2025
If your Royal Enfield Motorcycle has poor pickup, and the engine RPM raises disproportionately to the motorcycle speed, the clutch is likely slipping. Check for a sticky clutch or a clutch without any free play. Another potential cause is a rear chain that's excessively loose, causing it to slip on the sprocket. Adjust the rear chain to the correct tension. If the MIL Lamp is glowing, contact Authorised Service Center.

Why does my Royal Enfield Himalayan 2018 Motorcycle engine misfire and run erratically?
    • J
      Joseph RayAug 18, 2025
If your Royal Enfield Motorcycle engine is misfiring, running erratically, or stopping, it could be due to adulterated fuel or water in the fuel. Drain the entire fuel tank and refill with fresh fuel from a reputable filling station. It might also be happening because the motorcycle was driven in low gear, at high RPM, or in crowded places for a long time, causing excessive engine temperature. Switch ‘OFF’ the engine and allow it to cool down. If the MIL Lamp is glowing, contact an Authorised Service Center.
