If the unit will not be used for a long time:
• Drain the air conditioner (See page 8).
• After draining, keep the air conditioner running on FAN mode for at least 8 hours to dry the
unit completely to prevent mold.
• Clean the air filter
• Pull out the power supply plug and wrap around power cord hooks.
• Remove the batteries from the remote control before storage.
Cleaning the Air Filter
The filter should be cleaned about every 2 weeks to maintain proper airflow.
• Dismounting: Open the air inlet grille and take off air filter.
• Cleaning: Clean the air filter with neutral detergent in lukewarm water (104°F/40°C) and let
it dry in the shade.
• Mounting: Put the air filter into the inlet grille, replace the components as they were.
