Fasten the crank handle in the crank mount. Turn the crank handle anticlockwise to
retract the awning and clockwise to extend it.
ADJUST THE AWNING’S TILT ANGLE
To adjust the angle of the terrace awning, follow the instructions below.
Extend the awning to one third of its full length in order to adjust the angle.
1. Loosen the lock nuts slightly.
2. Adjust the angle by screwing in the adjustment bolt.
3. When the desired angle is reached and the front of the awning is horizontal, tighten
the lock nuts.
We recommend a tilt angle of 14°. However, the awning can be tilted within a range of
14–30°. Even if the arm bracket allows for a tilt angle beyond the 14–30° range, the tilt
angle must be within 14–30°.
