USE
Make sure that your camping area is fl at and even, remove sticks and rocks as they
might harm your tent fl oor.
Avoid mounting your tent under trees as a safety precaution, use a tent protector
cover if your tent is mounted under trees.
If you use a groundsheet protector, it will help you mount your tent easier, and it will
also add protection from dirt, water and condensation.
Before you zip all doors closed, make sure that you secure down the pegs.
If there are wrinkles in the fabric, it means that the tent has an uneven tension, and it
could lead to damages to the tent and it will reduce the water repellency. Make sure
that the poles are straight when you mount the tent and also that the guy ropes are
adjusted to have a better fi nish to the assembling of the tent.
Make sure that the groundsheet zip is hidden by the skirt of the tent.
WATERPROOF TENT
When your tent is setup and the fi rst heavy rain falls on it, it is possible that there will
be small leaks around the seams of the fabric.
This is unlikely, but don’t panic if this happens, this is not unusual.
When it is fully dried out, the cotton will naturally shrink, making the holes close,
and voila! Your tent is now waterproof.
WHEN THE TENT IS ASSEMBLED
On a regular basis, make sure that the pegs are fi rm in the ground. This is extra
important if you are experiencing wet weather because the ground is softer.
If you want to have a better ventilation, open doors, windows or even unzip
the groundsheet.
If there is any mold, dirt, or other marks on your tent, clean those spots right away
so it doesn’t spread in the tent.
