Before each use, inspect the entire product
for damaged, missing, or loose parts such
as screws, nuts, bolts, and caps. Tighten
securely all fasteners and caps and do
not operate the product until all missing
or damaged parts are replaced. Please
contact an authorised service centre.
General maintenance
Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic
parts. Most plastics are susceptible to damage
from various types of commercial solvents
and may be damaged by their use. Use clean
cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, and grease.

Remove any build-up of grass and leaves on
or around the motor cover. Wipe the mower
clean with a dry cloth occasionally. Do not use
water.
ADJUSTING CUTTING DECK WHEELS
See fig. 20.
The cutting deck wheels should be positioned
DSSUR[LPDWHO\FPLQRIIWKHJURXQG
when the mower is at the desired cutting
height. This will minimize the chance of
scalping the lawn in most situations. When
shipped, the wheels are positioned in Position
A.

1. Park the product on a level surface, and
engage the parking brake.
2. Turn off the product, and remove the start
key. Make sure that all moving parts have
come to a complete stop.
3. Set the cutting deck to the preferred
height setting.
4. Remove the nut and bolt that secure the
cutting deck wheel in place.
5. Move the wheel to the preferred position.
Available hole positions are:
Ɣ 3.81 cm (1.5 in.) (A)
Ɣ 4.44 cm (1.75 in.) (B)
Ɣ 5.08 cm (2 in.) (C)
Ɣ 5.72 cm (2.25 in.) (D)
6. Reinstall and securely tighten the bolts
and nuts. Torque nut to 5.42 - 8.13 Nm
(4 - 6 ft. lbs.).
7. Repeat the steps with the remaining
cutting deck wheel, making sure that both
wheels are installed in the same position.
