What to do if Sabik Marine Lighting LEDs do not turn on?

  If the LEDs on your Sabik Marine Lighting don't turn on, it could be due to a couple of reasons. First, the surrounding environment might be too bright, as the lantern is designed to activate automatically in darkness; try testing it in a darker setting and check the day-to-night transition level. Second, the lantern might be in a low voltage disconnect state, which means you'll need to charge the battery. If the charging indicator LED isn't flashing, consult the charging instructions.

How to connect IR programmer to Sabik Marine Lighting?

  If your IR programmer isn't connecting to the lantern, there are a few things to check: * **Battery:** If it's a new programmer, ensure the protective battery tab has been removed and the battery is charged. For older programmers, verify the batteries are charged. * **Proximity and Interference:** Place the programmer close (no more than 6” or 15 cm) to the top clear lens. Press the power button quickly and repeatedly for about two seconds. The lantern LEDs should flash upon successful connection. * **Factory Mode:** If it's a new lantern, it may be in factory mode. Tap the lantern head or left shoulder three times quickly to activate the LED display. If the status shows “stor”, allow the lantern to sit for two hours to switch to “on” automatically.
