To Replace the Batteries:
• Unscrew and slide off the cover at the front of the main unit.
• Remove the old batteries and replace with 4 x new 1.5V
LR44 alkaline batteries noting the polarity diagram inside
the compartment.
• Replace the battery cover and tighten screw.
WARNING:
• Immediately dispose of used batteries and keep away from
children. Do NOT dispose of batteries in household trash.
• Even used batteries may cause severe injury or death.
• Call a local poison control center for treatment information.
• Do not mix old and new batteries, different
brands or types of batteries, such as alkaline, carbon-zinc,
or rechargeable batteries.
• Ensure the batteries are installed correctly according to
polarity (+ and -).
• Remove and immediately discard batteries
from equipment not used for an extended period of time.
• Do not force discharge, recharge, disassemble, expose to
high temperatures or incinerate. Doing so may result in
injury due to venting, leakage or explosion resulting in
chemical burns.
3. Installing the Unit
• Clean the surfaces you want to mount the alarm on using
cleaning alcohol or similar. Ensure the surfaces are
completely clean and dry before proceeding.
• Using the double-sided adhesive pad provided, mount the
alarm and magnetic sensor on the door or window to be
protected, placing one of the units on the part of the fixture
which opens and the other on the stationary part of the
fixture (frame).
• Ensure that when the door or window is closed the arrows
on two parts of the alarm are aligned with less than 15mm
between them.
4. Operation
To Arm the Unit in ALARM Mode
• Toggle the switch to the position.
When the door or window is opened (causing the sensors
to separate by more than 15mm) the alarm will sound
continuously until the door or window is shut, or the unit is
disarmed.

1. Introduction
The Magnetic Window/ Door Alarm is designed to sound an
intruder alarm or visitor chime when a door or window is
opened. The simply switch in the battery compartment of the
unit can toggle between the different modes or switch the unit
off when it is not required.
2. Battery Installation
The Magnetic Window/ Door Alarm requires
4 x 1.5V LR44 alkaline batteries (included).

To Activate the Batteries:
• Unscrew and slide off the cover at the front of the main
unit.
• Carefully remove the clear plastic insulation tab from the
batteries. If the batteries are dislodged, replace them
noting the polarity diagram inside the battery compartment.
• Replace the battery cover and tighten screw.
It is recommended that the alarm power is regularly tested by
pressing the test button in the battery compartment. If
the light illuminates, the batteries are in good condition. If it
fails to illuminate, replace all of the batteries.
To Operate the Unit in CHIME Mode
• Toggle the switch to the position.
When the door or window is opened (causing the sensors
to separate by more than 15mm) the chime will sound.
To DISARM the Unit
• Toggle the switch to the position.
When the door or window is opened (causing the sensors
to separate by more than 15mm) the unit will make no
sound.
5. Care & Maintenance
To clean the unit housing, use a soft cloth dry.
Do not use chemical agents as this damage and discolor the
unit.

free from manufacturing defects for a period of ninety days
from the original date of consumer purchase. This warranty is

not cover products which have been abused, altered or
damaged. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties
