The standard for hearing aid compatibility has two classifications
with various levels. The compatibility level of this telephone is
M4/T4.
M: To use this mode, make sure the hearing aid is in M mode or
hearing pair mode and place the telephone receiver close to the
hearing aid microphone. Trying to position the phone in different
positions relative to the hearing aid, for example placing the receiver
a little above the ear, may ensure better performance with hearing
aids with a microphone positioned behind the ear.
T: To use this mode, make sure your hearing aid is in T-mode or
telecoil inductive coupling mode (not all hearing aids have this mode).
Try placing the phone in different positions relative to the hearing aid,
for example placing the receiver a little below or in front of the ear, may
ensure better performance.
