Not Found PLU function
Program descriptions by typing description on the alpha keyboard overlay or by entering three digit
alpha character codes. To use three digit alpha character codes you must select ‘No’ in system
option #25 (See “System Option Programming). Also see Descriptor Programming Methods for
Alpha Overlay and/or Descriptor Code Table.
This option can be used to create codes quickly in Register for new items.
1. Switch to REG Mode by press MODE function key.
2. Register an item, which does not exist in the register

Enter the PLU#,
No more then 15 digits
3. The “NO7 FOuNd” (NOT FOUND) will appear, allowing the user to continue with creation
of item by pressing 1 (or to quit by pressing CLEAR).

4. The “P” (PRICE) will appear, input the price and press X/TIME key. Do not use the
decimal key.

If the PLU Price Level is 2, repeat this again.

5. The “PLu” (PLU) will appear, ready to enter detail of the product; the product can then either
be completed quickly with both descriptor and all settings including tax, offers etc. by
copying from an existing item, or by entering the PLU name, price, and tax status manually.

• Press one of the 12 PLU key on the keyboard.

• Enter PLU number then press PLU function key.

The new item will be created and registered as per the selected product.
