Operating the positioner
ThepositionerautomaticallyreturnstoCode0ifnosettingsaremadewithin120seconds,
but remains in the manual mode.
Switch to
automatic mode
1. Turn untilCode0appears.
2. Press
, the code number 0 blinks.
3. Turn
until AUtO appears.
4. Press
. The positioner switches to automatic mode.
7.11.2 Fail-safe position (SAFE)
If you want to move the valve to the fail-safe position determined during start-up (see sec-
tion7.1),proceedasfollows:
1. Turn untilCode0appears.
2. Press
, reading: current operating mode
(AUtO or MAN), the code number 0 blinks.
3. Turn until SAFE appears.
4. Press

The valve moves to the fail-safe position.If
the positioner has been initialized, the cur-
rentvalvepositionin%isindicatedonthe
display.
Exiting the fail-safe position:
1. Turn untilCode0appears.
2. Press
, the code number 0 blinks.
3. Turn
and select the required operating mode (AUtO or MAN).
4. Press
toconrm.
5. The positioner switches to the operating mode selected.
