Observing the requirements of IEC61508, the systematic capability of the pilot
valve for emergency venting as a component in safety-instrumented systems is
given.
Use is possible on observing the requirements of IEC61511 and the required
hardware fault tolerance in safety-instrumented systems up to SIL2 (single device/
HFT=0) and SIL3 (redundant conguration/HFT=1).
