Thischapterincludesinstructionsforupdatingtheprinterrmware.Youcanupdatetheprinterrmwarebyusingone
ofthefollowingmethods:
•Updatethermwarebyusingtheprintercontrolpanel
•Updatethermwarebyusingthenetwork.
4.3.1.UpdatingfromthePrinterControlPanel
WARNING
Failuretofollowtheseinstructionscouldleadtocorruptionissuesandpreventtheproperoperationofthisprinter.Follow
alloftheinstructionscarefully.
1)DownloadthermwarelefromtheGlobalServicePartnerNetwork(GSPN)website.
2)UnzipthermwareletoafolderonyourPC.
3)Copythermwarele(*.hds)toaUSBashdrive.
NOTE
Thermwarelesmaybeupto500MBinsize.USBashdrivesizemustbeaminimumof2GB.
4)Pressthebuttononcontrolpanelinthisorder.(MachineSetup>Others>ApplicationManagement>Application)
5)PlugtheUSBashdriveintotheUSBport.“Install”buttonwillbeactivatedontheApplicationtab.Pressthe“Install”
button.
NOTE
[Install]buttonremainsgreyed-outuntilUSBmemorydriveisdetectedandmountedproperly
6)TheinstallationwindowwilllistthelesontheUSBdrive.Touchthenameofthermwareletoselectit.
