Settings
■Setting Ethernet tethering
You can connect to the Internet via an Ethernet device using a USB
Ethernet adapter (commercial item) and Ethernet cable (commercial item).

Connecting the terminal to an Ethernet device

From the Home screen, → "Settings" → "Connections" →
"Tethering" → "Ethernet tethering"
■ Setting USB tethering
You can connect to the Internet by connecting the terminal to a PC via
USB cable A to C 02 (sold separately).

Insert Type-C plug of the USB cable A to C into the USB

Insert USB plug of the USB cable A to C into a PC USB port

From the Home screen, → "Settings" → "Connections" →
"Tethering" → "USB tethering"
Information
• During USB tethering, you can't look inside this terminal from
connected PC.
• Operating environments for USB tethering are as follows. DOCOMO
is not liable for the operation after upgrading/adding/changing OS.

VPN (Virtual Private Network) is a technology to connect to the information
in a protected local network from another network. Generally, VPN is
provided to companies, schools and other facilities. A user can access to
the information in the local network from outside of the premises.
• To set up a VPN access from the terminal, you need to retrieve the
information related to security from your network administrator.
■ Adding a VPN

From the Home screen, → "Settings" → "Connections" →
"More connection settings" → "VPN"

→ "Add VPN prole"

Follow the instruction of the network administrator to set
required items of VPN settings


■ Connecting to a VPN

From the Home screen, → "Settings" → "Connections" →
"More connection settings" → "VPN"

Tap a VPN you want to connect to

Enter necessary authentication information → "Connect"
• appears on the status bar.
■ Disconnecting VPN

Open the Notication panel → Tap the VPN connecting

• Follow the onscreen instructions.
