Unlocking the screen by voice
You can unlock the screen by saying your voice password to Bixby Voice.
•
Your device can be unlocked by someone else who says the correct password.
•
Voice password is less secure than Pattern, PIN, or Password.
Setting a voice password

On the Bixby Home screen, tap
→
Settings
→
Unlock with voice password
.

Unlock the screen using the preset screen lock method.
If you have not set a screen lock method, create one.

Read the on-screen instructions and tap
CONTINUE
.

Tap and say your voice password.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
Unlocking the screen with your voice password
If you speak to Bixby Voice while the screen is locked, Bixby Voice will ask you to say your
voice password. Say your voice password to unlock the screen.
Waking up Bixby Voice while using the speaker
You can wake up Bixby Voice by saying “Hi Bixby” even when the speaker plays alarms,
ringtone, or media.
On the Bixby Home, tap
→
Settings
→
Voice wake-up
and tap the
Use when phone
speaker playing
switch to activate it.
