Message search
Search through your messages by using the search feature.
1.
From
Messages, tap Search.
2.
Enter a word o
r phrase to search for, and then tap
Search on the keyboard.
Delete messages
You can delete individual text messages from a conversation.
1.
From
Messages, tap a conversation.
2. Touch and hold a message, and then tap Delete.
3. Tap each message that you want to delete.
4. Tap Delete and confirm when prompted.
NOTE Deleting text messages only removes them from your device. It does not
remove sent text messages from the recipient’s device.
Delete conversations
Entire conversations can be deleted at once.
1.
From
Messages, tap More options > Edit.
2. Tap each conversation that you want to delete.
3.
Tap
Delete and confirm when prompted.
Emergency alerts
Emergency alerts notify you of imminent threats and other situations. There is no
charge for receiving an Emergency alert message.
1.
From Settings, t
ap
Connections > More connection settings.
2. Tap Wireless emergency alerts > Settings to customize notifications for
emergency alerts.
