Using a
flash
You
can use
the
flash in
low-light
situations, such
as
when shooting indoors or at night.
You
can
also
use
it
outdoors when
light
is
low
or
there
is
a risk
of
camera shakiness, such
as
in shaded
places,
at dawn,
or
in
late afternoon.

In
expert mode, press
the
flash release
button
to
open
the
flash manually
before setting
the
option.

Reducing
the
red-eye
effect
If
you take a
photo
of
a person in
low
light
with
the
flash, a red
glow
may
appear in
the
eyes.
To
reduce
the
red-
eye effect,
select
Fill
in
+ Red-eye
or
Auto
+ Red-eye.
