Adult Prole: An adult prole can purchase any
type of content. An adult prole can also control
which content is visible to itself and which content
is visible to any child prole. It can also set parental
controls for child proles. It cannot control which
content is visible to the primary prole.

Child Prole: By default, a child prole can only view
and purchase content authorized by the primary
prole or through parental controls congured by an
adult prole. A child prole does not have the ability
to create or edit other proles. It cannot override
parental controls.
Set up a New or Existing Adult
Prole
To set up an adult prole:
1. From a Home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
2. Tap Users.
3. Tap Add user or prole.
4. Tap User, and then follow the prompts to create the
prole.
Note: During the new prole setup, you have the option
to skip, sign-in, or create several types of accounts for
the new prole. You are also able to name the prole,
which is specic for your NOOK prole. Once signed in,
you are prompted to assign a name to the device.
