Play Newsstand
Goo gle Play Newsstand is a new app that replaces Play Magazines
and Google Currents by blending th em togeth er. It makes it
easier to f ind and subscribe to magazines and mixes in suggested
content from around the web based on what you’ve be en
reading. The more you read with the app, the smar ter it gets and
the more suggestions it can make. The first se ction is called Read
Now and this contains suggested stories and subscribed news
feeds . Tap on Read N ow to see the other s e ction h eader s which
include My News, My Magazines, Bookmark s and E xplore (Fig
5). Tap on Exp lore to see links to the Play Store, Featured news
items, or sections of content such as enter t ainm ent, arts and
photography, news and po litic s. Tap on one of these to see a
choice of magazin es o r website to check out and subscribe to.
Play Movies
The i nal area of the Google Play store to explore is the Play Movies
hub. As the name suggests, Play Movies contain s the latest and
greatest blockbuster titles that you can stream directly on your
device, and in a few countries including the UK and US you can buy
