Activating an eSIM (dual SIM models)
Launch the
Settings
app and tap
Connections
→
SIM card manager
→
Add mobile plan
.
When a mobile plan is found, follow the on-screen instructions to activate the eSIM.
If you have a QR code provided by your service provider, launch the
Settings
app, tap
Connections
→
SIM card manager
→
Add mobile plan
→
Add using QR code
, and then
scan the QR code.
Using the eSIM and nano-SIM card (dual SIM models)
If you install a nano-SIM card and activate the eSIM, you can have two phone numbers or
service providers for a single device.
This feature may not be available depending on the region or service provider.
Activating SIM or USIM cards
Launch the
Settings
app and tap
Connections
→
SIM card manager
. Select a SIM or USIM
card and tap the switch to activate it.
Customising the eSIM and nano-SIM card
Launch the
Settings
app, tap
Connections
→
SIM card manager
, and then select the eSIM
or nano-SIM card to access the following options:
•
Icon
: Change the icon of the eSIM or nano-SIM card.
•
Name
: Change the display name of the eSIM or nano-SIM card.
•
Network mode
: Select a network type to use with the eSIM or nano-SIM card.
Setting preferred eSIM or nano-SIM card
When two cards are activated, you can assign voice calls, messaging, and data services to
specific cards.
Launch the
Settings
app, tap
Connections
→
SIM card manager
, and then set the feature
preferences for your cards in
Preferred SIM card
.
