Installing USB driver in Windows 2000/XP
Connect your printer with the USB cable.
For the information on connecting the cable, see page 2.13.
1. Connecting USB
The New Hardware Found dialog box appears.
Click Cancel, and insert the supplied CD-ROM into your CD-
ROM drive.

When the opening screen appears, select the appropriate
language.

Click Install the Samsung Software on your PC.
Note: All applications must be
closed on your PC before
beginning installation.
2. Installing USB
driver
Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the
installation. For more details, see page 2.9.
Notes:
• If you want to use your printer with the Parallel cable, remove the
USB cable and connect the Parallel cable. Then reinstall the printer
driver.
• If your printer doesn’t work properly, reinstall the printer driver.
