•Symptom:Tonercartridgeisinstalled,but“NotInstall”messageoccurs.
•Cause:
-Tonercartridgeisnotinstalledproperly.
-CRUMharnessofthetonercartridgeisdefective.
-CRUMPBAorCRUMChipisdefective.
-CRUMconnection(Modularconnector)isdefective.
-CRUMJointPBAisdefective.
-BadconnectionbetweenthemainboardandtheCRUMJointPBA
•Troubleshooting
1)Tonercartridgeinstallproblem
-Checkifthetonercartridgeisinstalledproperly.
-Ifthecartridgecomesoutautomaticallyfromset,checkthecartridgexinghook.
-Iftherearesomeproblemsofhook,replacecartridgecaporcartridge.
2)CRUMharnessproblemofthetonercartridge
-CheckifCRUMharnessofthetonercartridgeisconnectedcorrectly.
Checkifmodularjackofthetonercartridgeisbrokenorassembledabnormally.
-Ifthemodularjackharnessisdefective,replaceitwithnewone.
Ifthemodularjackisenteredtothetonercartridge,pulloutitwithhands.
3)CRUMPBAproblemorCRUMdatabroken
-Replacethetonercartridgewithnewone.
4)CRUMconnection(Modularconnector)installationproblem
a)Openthefrontcover.Pulloutthetonercartridge.
b)ChecktheCRUMconnection(Modularconnector)isinstalledproperly.
c)Ifthemodularconnectorisnotinstalledproperly,openthefrontcoverandre-installit.
5)CURMJointPBAproblem
-IfCRUMJointPBAhassomeproblemsofthemodularjackpinorthemainboardinterfaceconnectoretc,
replacethePBAwithnewonelikeNo.4.
6)BadconnectionbetweenthemainboardandtheCRUMJointPBA
-ChecktheconnectionbetweenthemainboardandtheCRUMJointPBA.
Iftheconnectionisbad,replacetheharnessortheCRUMJointPBAormainboard.
