Thismachineusesonedrumunit,onedeveunit,andalaserbeamformonoprinting.ThedrumunitconsistsofaOPCdrum,
chargeroller,cleaningblade.Thedeveunitconsistsofamagneticroller,mixingauger.
TheOPCdrum[A]ischargedwithanegativevoltageandisexposedbythelightfromtheLSU(LaserScanningunit)[B].
ThelightproducedbythelasercreatesalatentimagebydischargingonthesurfaceoftheOPCdrum.Thenegatively
chargedtonerisattractedtothelatentdrumimageduetoanelectriceld.Thetoners(monoimage)onOPCdrumare
transferredtothepaperbyapositivebias.
1)OPCdrumcharge:Thechargerollergivesthedrumanegativecharge.
2)Laserexposure:LightproducedbyalaserdiodehitsthechargedOPCthroughthelensandmirrors.
3)Development:Themagneticrollercarriesnegativelychargedtonertothelatentimageonthedrumsurface.
