ScanAreaAdjustment
•Diagnostics>Adjustment>ScanAreaAdjustment>AutomaticAdjustment
PurposeTocorrectimagepositionandmagnicationofscannedimagesautomatically.
OperationProcedure
1)LocatetheScannerA/SChartatthescanglass.
Notethat“LeadEdge”arrowsneedtoheadtotheleftsideofscanglassandtobeplaced
facedown.AlsonotethattheScannerA/SChartscomeintwosizes,A4andLetter.
Chooseonesizetomeetyourprimarysizeofuse.
2)Press“OK”button.Automaticscanningwilloccur,andthesystemwillautomatically
calculatethepropervaluebasedonscanningresultofthechart.
3)Thenewvaluesettothesystem.
4)ScantheScannerA/SChartandsendittoaPC.Scanningmustbeoccurfromthescanglass.
5)Tochecktheimageposition,comparethepositionofscalemarks(a,b)ofthecharttothe
scannedimage.
6)Tocheckthemagnication,comparethelengthofline“c”ofthecharttothescannedimage.
