Thisfunctionenables/disablesremoteconnectionstothesystemviatelnet,OSGI,samba,SSH,ADBprotocol.
Thisfunctioncanbeusedwhenthereisaproblemthatrequiresdeveloperstoaccessthesystemorwhenthereisaneedfor
developerstouploadapplicationsforatest.
Sinceenablingthoseportscancreatesariskofdamagingdatastoredinthedevice,agreementoftheadministratorofthe
customersiteisnecessary.Theusermustloginastheadministratortoenable/disabletheservices.

•ServiceFunctions>DebugLog
Thisfunctionsetsthesystemlogmessagelevel.Userscanselectthreeoptions.
-Off:Thisoptiondisablestheloggingoption.
-JobStatus:Thisoptiononlyenablestheloggingoptionofusercreatedjobs.
-Details:Thisoptionenablesalltheloggingoptionsoftherunningtasksofthesystem.Notethatthisoptionmight
createatrade-offofperformanceincertainsystemoperation.Usethisoptionwhenthesystembehavesabnormally,
andengineersneedtoinvestigateproblems.
4.5.6.5.CaptureLog
•ServiceFunctions>CaptureLog
ThisfunctioncopiesallthesavedloginthesystemtoaUBSmemoryasaziple.Notethatthesizeofsystemlogcould
reachupto1GB.Ifthesystemlogsizebecomeconsiderablyhuge,itwilltakelongertimetocopytothepluggedmemory.
1)ConnectUSBmemorytodevice.
2)EnterSVCmode.
3)Goto"ServiceFunctions>DebugLog"andchangedebugloglevelto“DETAILS”.
4)Goto"ServiceFunctions>CaptureLog"
5)SelectAllorPeriod.WhenyouselectPeriod,inputthestartandenddate.
6)PressCaptureLogbutton.
7)Onceitiscompleted,themessagewillbedisplayed.Thenrestorethedebugloglevelto”JOBSTA TUS”.
NOTE
Ifthesystemlogsizebecomeconsiderablyhuge,itwilltakelongertimetocopytothepluggedmemory.
8)CheckistheLogleiscreatedintheUSBmemory.
