Thetemperaturecontroloffuserunitisabnormal.Thefusertemperaturehasdroppedbelowthenormalvalue.
►Troubleshootingmethod
CAUTION
ThetemperaturegetshotaroundtheFuserUnit.Topreventburns,makesuretheFuserUnitareaiscoolbefore
performingthisprocedure.
1)Turnthemachineoffthenon.
2)Turnthemachineoff.Re-installthefuserunit.Thenturnthemachineon.
3)Iftheproblempersists,removethefuserunit.
4)Checkthefusercomponents.
•Checkifthethermistorisassembledcorrectly.
•Checkifthethermostatisconnected.
•Checkifthecenterandsidelampsareinshortstatus.(Measuretheresistancevaluebetweenthecommon-center
andcommon-side.)
5)Ifthereareanydefectivepartsinstep5,replacethefuserunit.
6)Iftheproblempersists,replacethesepartsinregularsequence.
