Whenthemainswitchturnson,theCPUturnsonthefusinglamp.ThelampstaysonuntiltheNCsensorsdetectthe
standbytemperature.ThentheCPUraisesthetemperatureuptotheprintingtemperature.
■OverheatProtection
TheCPUcutspowertothefusinglampinthefollowingcases:
•ThetemperaturedetectedbytheNCsensorskeepshigherthan220°Cfor20sec.
Thefollowingcomponentsareusedwhenthermistoroverheatprotectionfails:
•Twothermostatsgetintolinewiththecommongroundwireofthefusinglamp.
•Ifoneofthethermostattemperaturesbecomeshigherthan195°C,itopensandcutspowertothefusinglamp.Ifthe
otherthermostattemperaturebecomeshigherthan195°C,italsoopensandcutspowertothefusinglamp.
