1. Turn ON the main water supply.
2. Press the Water button on the control
panel. Place a cup or glass under the
water outlet, and then push the cup or
glass against the dispenser pad until
you hear a “click”.
3. Flush 3 gallons of water through the
lter.
(Flush approximately 6 minutes.)
This will clean the water supply system
and remove air from the lines.
4. Additional ushing may be required in
some households.
5. Open the refrigerator door and make
sure there are no water leaks coming
from the water lter.
NOTE
• A newly installed water lter cartridge
may cause water to briey spurt from
the water dispenser.
This is the result of air getting into the
line.
It poses no problem to the operation of
the refrigerator.
