ThecolorofthestatusLEDindicatesthemachine'scurrentstatus.
StatusDescription
Off•Themachineisoff-line.
•Themachineisinpowersavermode.Whendataisreceived,oranybuttonispressed,it
switchestoon-lineautomatically.
OnThemachineison-lineandcanbeused.
FaxThemachineissendingorreceivingfaxes.
CopyThemachineiscopyingdocuments.
ScanThemachineisscanningdocuments.
Blue
Blinking
Print•WhenthestatusLEDslowlyblinks,themachineisreceivingdata
fromthecomputer.
•WhenthestatusLEDblinksrapidly,themachineisprintingdata.
On•Thetonercartridgelifeistotallyempty.Removetheoldtonercartridgeandinstalla
newone.
•Apaperjamhasoccurred.
•Thedoorisopen.Closethedoor.
•Thereisnopaperinthetray.Loadpaperinthetray.
•Themachinehasstoppedduetoamajorerror.Checkthedisplaymessage
Orange
Blinking•Aminorerrorhasoccurredandthemachineiswaitingfortheerrortobecleared.
Checkthedisplaymessage.Whentheproblemiscleared,themachineresumesits
originaltask.
•Thetonercartridgelifeisneartheendofitslife.Orderanewtonercartridge.Youcan
temporarilyimproveprintqualitybyredistributingthetoner.
