Screen off memo
You can quickly create memos by writing on the screen without turning on it. You can also pin
or edit a memo on the Always On Display.

If this feature is not activated, launch the Settings app, tap Advanced features
→
S Pen , and then tap the Screen off memo switch to activate it.

You can create memos in different colours depending on your S Pen’s
colour. If you want to change the colour to white, launch the Settings app,
tap Advancedfeatures
→
S Pen
→
Screen off memo , and then tap the
UseSPensignature colour switch to deactivate it. If the S Pen’s colour is black, you
can only create memos in white.
Creating a screen off memo

When the screen is off, detach the S Pen or tap the screen with the S Pen while pressing
and holding the S Pen button.
